This organic Green Sencha Tea is fermented using a symbiotic culture of good bacteria, yeast and Icelandic Glacial water. Infused with Ginger for the perfect blend of flavors.

Our water that is sourced from the Bláfjöll Ranges; the secret behind every precious GlacierFire product. For more than 5000 years, this spring has provided abundance to its every visitor, shielded by an impenetrable barrier of lava. The spring is continuously replenished by rain, show and melted ice from the mighty mountains that pepper the area.

These waters come from the numerous glaciers in the south west of Iceland, especially the famous, Eyjafjallajökull, which is know for its eruption in 2010 that caused total aviation disruption in Europe.

THE COMPOSITION

THE PURITY

Icelandic spring and glacial water flows into the ocean at the astounding rate of 100's of billions of liters per year. Icelandic water is naturally filtered by ancient lava fields.
The purest, most natural water known to man, frozen in time 5,000 years ago, before the existence of man made pollution, away from the industrialized world.
Icelandic water requires no treatment like extensive reverse osmosis, ozonation, filtration and cleansing. It has a very low amount of total dissolved solids.

Iceland, on the edge of the world, is environmentally flawless. Its glacial water is clean, unspoiled and one of the purest of all naturally occurring water sources.


HOW WE MAKE IT

WATER & SUGAR
Combine hot glacial water and sugar in a tank.

ADD TEA
Add green Sencha tea to the mixture along with ginger root.

COOL
Cool the mixture to 68-85ºF.

FILTER
Filter the Tea leaves out of the mixture. Repeat a few times until it is the filtrate is clear of all residue.

SCOBY
Add a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast to allow fermentation.

BREW
Ferment for 30 days in the tank until ready.

CARBONATION
Filter and Lightly carbonate the drink before filling.

BOTTLING
Pass the ready drink to the filling line and bottle. Seal and prepare for storage. Serve Chilled.
